Name: Thompson Nathaniel Corbalis
Age: 13
Height: 5'5 (167 cm)
Species: human
Gender: male
Hair: Reddish-brown, naturally curly, and quite unruly
Eyes: Brown. He tends to glare and roll his eyes a lot. Has thick eyebrows, too. Tends to look discontent.
Personality: A little shy and easily irritated. Compassionate yet apathetic. Gets jealous a little easily and is short-tempered. Standoffish and stubborn. Genuinely cares for anyone he befriends and is rather competitive. Will start fighting with his fists if agitated enough. Tries to be snarky in boring, lackluster situations. Is thought to be unapproachable by some, including Emily. Seems tough and a little intimidating.
Body: lanky. Usually has a bandage on his face for whatever reason. Spaces out a lot.
Background: Tri-County Middle School student Thompson Corbalis is one of the orchestra kids Emily befriends. He has an attitude that only Andrea, his childhood friend (and Emily, at some extent), can really handle. He plays the cello, and tends to be annoyed about most things. A nerd with a relatively short temper. Sincerely doesn't care about ang3lic.
Probably has his own gang of other nerds that he hangs out with. Apathetic towards things that don't interest him. Tends to wear things (uniform included) in a loose manner. Wears a dog tag necklace for some band (that he tends to chew on when agitated), a black and white cap, and a gray sweater. Has an older brother. Aspires to start a band, with that punky sound akin to Squid Squad. Has a crush on the drama club president, and is pretty shy about it. Spouts game references on the daily. Is well aware that both his first/last names sound like surnames.
Between Emily and Andrea, Thompson is the most intimidating of the three, and lashes out the most. He will literally and physically fight in order to stop people from starting rumours about him or any of his friends. Almost gave someone (who was about to spread a rumour of how Thompson was dating one of his friends) a black eye, which might happen again. Spends every weekend at a local arcade with his gang. His gang seems intimidating, but it's just a group of noisy, lousy middle school nerds that doesn't really attack others without reason.
Thompson doesn't think about Emily's family a lot, nor does he think highly of Noah in the slightest. He thinks he's leagues better than Emily's dopey klutz of a cousin. He also has a really nerdy sense of coolness. Thompson and his brother live with their loving grandmother. Her open displays of affection tend to embarrass Thompson. His singing is a lot like Patrick Stump, in which his ways of pronunciation makes him difficult to understand. Tends to say "slick" and "gloriousness" a lot.
Thompson's biggest secret (other than that he has a crush on the drama club president) is that he's actually a werewolf. He once was caught lurking in the basement, trying to figure out what was down there. That's when he was found by two figures in golden cloaks. After he denied over and over again to join some cult, he was taken to its leader, who started a ritual that cursed Thompson by turning him to a hulking, feral monster in the midst of a full moon's light. Just to punish him under the might of the almighty Lord Mercurius, and to never mess with him or his cult again. Before they kicked him out of the basement, a cult member forcedly secured silver shackles on Thompson's wrists. They stung something fierce. If they were ever broken while he's human, his soul is property of Lord Mercurius himself.
After that night, Thompson began to loathe himself. His curse meant that he couldn't be himself as much as he used to. Thompson became the rabid beast that terrorized the entire middle school. He didn't want anyone to see how his hair suddenly grew overnight, or that he had fangs. Once he passed out after homeroom, no one dared to anger him. Thompson is actually incredibly strong and can even carry any of his classmates. He barely shows it off in fear it'll give his secret away. His wannabe punk band is known as the Hell Valley Sky Trees.
